He was serious and even though he’s 20 and still a little young to rule an army he doesn’t quite frankly care… On the other hand.. You were a girl in the village. You knew Kai since you were children and you’ve both grown to fall for each other. But it was instructed that all girls when they turn 16 to get married. It was a rule that the parents also had to pick a man for you. It was a shock mixed with hurt and betrayal when your parents didn’t pick Kai.. setting a distance but still love lingers.
